The biggest fetish event in Europe, Folsom Europe, was held in Berlin on the weekend starting on 5th September 2008. I was there with a good friend of mine. Pictured on the right is me, taking a nap in our hotel room between parties. Fun times.
Just got back home last Sunday from our 9-day fetish trip across Europe. Three cities, three nights each, and action every single day. Over 700 photos taken (okay, some of they are not that good, but anyway…). Our destinations were:
Munich, Germany: here we got a chance to first meet with a Finnish guy on his own European tour. Some spandex fun in our hotel room ensued. Then, we went to MLC München for “Fist Night”. Awesome club. On our last night, we shocked the citizens of Munich by walking around the city centre in full zentai (pictured). I was Spiderman, and consequently everyone’s favourite, especially the children’s.
Netherlands: We had Amsterdam as our base of operations. First we visited the kind people of RSG (Rubber Sex Group) in Amsterdam for some fun in their well-equipped attic. Next day I travelled to another city to meet a fetish friend, who immediately dressed me in full leather motorcycling gear and took me for my first motorcycle ride ever. It was scary and fun at the same time. Â My last day was topped by a fetish friend in Eindhoven with whom I first did an outdoors shoot, and then proceeded to Vagevuur, a fetish club in Eindhoven.
London, UK: Upon arriving, we headed to the Backstreet straight away. It was thursday, so too quiet there. On Friday I got tied up by LondonRopeTop, who is the quickest and most professional rope bondage top I’ve ever seen. Friday night was finished with a visit to The Hoist, which had the usual Fetish Friday there. On Saturday, we got the privilege to meet the world-famous AndyELycra, and also LycraSteveUK from London. On Saturday evening we gave Backstreet another chance, and yes, there were more people there.

Our Finlandization weekend posse consisted mostly of me and two fetish friends from Tampere. We started off our weekend on Friday, when we had a nice rubber/bondage/lycra session at my place. Yes, pictures were taken. We then headed to Hercules Nightclub for the event advertised as “an unofficial get-together party”. It turned out to be just that — a bit disappointingly. The party was in the back bar of Hercules, but it was open to everyone, guaranteeing a lot of vanilla people mingling with the fetish folk. Even so, there was a nice group of people there, with moderately low-key costumes, mostly of the leather and skinhead variety. Hercules’ excellent happy hour prices were a nice plus.
On Saturday, the weather was so awesome that it could not be wasted indoors. We headed to Lake Bodom, the biggest lake in Espoo, to do an outdoors shoot. The main beach there was totally packed with people, but having ventured a mile or so onwards, we found a nice, relatively desolate spot with a great view of the lake. Then it was time for a quick change of clothes, and soon we were doing some pretty hot pics.
Unfortunately our photo shoot location was not totally devoid of regular people passing by… my apologies to those Finns whose saturday day we shocked with our rubber, lycra and gas masks.
On Saturday evening it was finally the time for the main party at DTM. I wore a full latex catsuit, rubber collar and army boots. The party turned out to be excellent. Many people had put real effort into their wardrobe. We had down-to-the-details authentic army uniforms and even a fully-decked Imperial Stormtrooper! During the party I gave in to my exhibitionist side and took a stroll through the vanilla floor of DTM in my latex catsuit, and even popped outside to the street. Finns, like usual, gave stares of interest, but nothing more.
Props to the MSC Finland organization for pulling off a great weekend of fetish. Only one question remains… why weren’t YOU at Finlandization, and what will you wear there next year?
